1. Environmental Policy

Pursuant to the applicable environmental laws and regulations in China, we have installed various equipment at all of our production facilities for the removal of lead dust and particles generated during our production process and to minimize the amount of pollutants in the air. The equipment includes ventilation systems, dust absorbing and removing systems, acidic mist and lead fumes purifying machines and fresh air pipelines.  Our production process generates waste water containing lead and sulphuric acid. We have installed waste water treatment facilities at our production facilities. The water treatment facility neutralizes the waste water and removes its lead content in accordance with the applicable environmental standards in China. At our Shenzhen and Shandong production facilities, the purified water is collected and reused in our production process, thus achieving "zero discharge." At the Jiangsu production facility, waste water is discharged to the municipal sewer system after purification. No industrial waste water is generated from the operations of our Shenzhen and Shandong production facilities.

2. Quality Control(QC)

Evoque Battery has always strived to deliver the highest quality products to its over 1000 customers. Stringent process controls govern all manufacturing activities. Quality engineers are highly involved in evaluating the quality and reliability of all products manufactured both in the design and production stages. Our quality controls are emphasized throughout our manufacturing process to maximize customer satisfaction.

3.Our emphasis are:

1.All of our engineers and technicians undergo training course regularly, in order to make the production more efficient and effective.

2. All products from raw material to finished product are subjected to over 120 quality tests.

3. All processes are based on ISO 9001 standard, implement 6Q management completely.

4. Guarantee all of the EVOQUE batteries with 100% pass 120 quality tests before output.

QUALITY TEST
The following is a list of tests that EVOQUE products go through to ensure quality.

CAPACITY TEST
Batteries are discharged at the 0.3C rate. After 150 minutes of continuous discharge the battery voltage under load must be 1.75 volt/cell to pass.

HIGH LOAD TEST
A load of 2 C amps is applied for 5 minutes while the terminal voltage is monitored. To pass, the voltage must be >11.88 volt/ per battery.

VISUAL INSPECTION
Batteries are inspected for proper appearance of battery case, terminals, seals, markings, and the absence of electrolyte leakage. Several samples each day are checked for compliance with specified dimensions and tolerances.

CAPACITY TEST - MEDIUM LOAD

Samples are fully charged, then discharged at ambient temperature at the 0.2C rate to a final voltage of 1.7 volt/cell. The discharge time must be no less then 4 hours.

CAPACITY TEST - HIGH LOAD

Fully charged batteries are discharged at 77°F and 25°C at the 2C rate to an end voltage of 1.35V/cell. The expected discharge time is >15 minutes.

SHELF LIFE TEST
Fully charged batteries are stored for 2 1/2 weeks at 131°F (55°C). A discharge test performed at ambient temperature applying a load of 0.2C rate to 1.7V/cell must yield a run time of at least 3 hours, i.e. the capacity loss resulting from self-discharge must not exceed 50%.

VIBRATION TEST
Sample batteries are subjected to vibration is any direction at the rate of 2000 cycles per minute and amplitude of 0.1 inch (2.5mm) for 2 hours. No signs of damage, leakage, or change in electrical characteristics are expected.

OVERCHARGE TEST
Fully charged batteries are overcharged at the rate of 0.1C amps for 48 hours and then is expected to produce a run time of 8.5 hours, or at least 95% of initial capacity, and an absence of problem signs.

RELIEF VALVE TEST (UL924)
A fully charged battery is submerged in a tank filled with mineral oil and charged at 0.4C amps. This overcharge is to demonstrate the proper functioning of the safety relief valve. The release of excess gasses through the vent is demonstrated by bubbles rising from the battery.

CYCLE LIFE TEST
At an ambient temperature of 77°F and 25°C sample batteries are discharged at the 0.2C rate to 1.7V/cell and recharged at the 0.25 rates up to 2.5V/cell until charge current drops 0.01C amps. At least 200 cycles must be obtained before the capacity drops below 60% of initial capacity.

4. FAQ's:

4-1: What's the capacity of the battery ?

The capacity of the VRLA battery means that when the battery is full charged and discharge at some condition to the stated end voltage, the capacity is released out, the unit is Ah. For example, when the battery discharges at 1A current for 1 hour, that's the 1Ah capacity. If the battery discharge at 4A current for 3 hours to the end voltage, the released capacity is 12Ah.

4-2:What is EPV(Cut-Off Voltage/End Point Voltage)?

EPV is the battery end load voltage in the condition of discharge. Many kinds of standards rule EPV definitely in different discharge rates and temperatures. EPV is different according to different discharge rates: it is low when discharge in high current, contrarily, it is high when discharge in low current.

4-3:What is the self-discharge rate of batteries?

The self-discharge, also known as charge retention capacity, that means when it is in open circuit state, the maintain ability of battery's storage electricity under certain environmental conditions .During storage time, the rate of capacity loss is called self-discharge rate.It is mainly affected by the manufacture technology, materials, storage conditions and other factors, which is an important parameter to measure the battery's performance.

4-4:What is discharge hour rate ?

Discharge hour rate is mean the discharge capacity will decrease according to increase of discharge current under condition that the active substance quantity keep unchange. So the discharge rate should be specified when scale the discharge capacity . Dischareg rate include hour rate and current rate.Hour rate(time rate) is the needful time when finished discharge the capacity under a definited current, different VRLA battery have different discarhge rate stanard;Current rate is also named as double rate,it is meaning that discharge current is the double rate of rating capacity.

4-5:Why the batteries need to be stored for a certain time before delivery?

The storage capability is an important parameter for checking the stability of general capability. After a certain period storage, the variety of capacity and inner resistance is allowed. And the storage can level off the electrochemistry performance of inner component, so that we can know the extent of self-discharge capability, then pick out the batteries with short circuit (caused by fast droping of OCV) and micro short circuit, so the battery quality can be ensured.
